Born in the Midwest, Gail Marie comes
from a musical background. A Mother who sings and plays guitar, a Father who plays as well
and enough encouragement from both launched this talent at an early age. Touring through
out her home State of Michigan, Gail Marie and two siblings sang at everything
from Country Fairs to Buckingham Hall in Detroit. No instruments, no back up singers.
ACappella trained, as pure as voice gets, this singer,
song writer, shoots straight from the heart. They don’t come anymore “real”
than this girl.
A hard life on the farm and lost
youth, lends to the haunting words of some of her songs. “I try to reach people where
they live, the heart” she says. “Telling them how life has affected me reflects
their experiences as well. Something that is universal is the realm ofLove, lost or found it is an
unlimited source of inspiration to me.”
Gail Marie is currently working on a
cd to be released in Winter 2006.
